Stepmania UnderGround Forums

I ... am completely boggled by this. It never fails. I'll be in Stepmania, heading through the song wheel or in the middle of a song when all of a sudden my monitor will shut off and the music will stop. And it won't come back on until I shut off my computer and restart it via the power button. I can't think for the life of me that it would be Stepmania causing this, but it doesn't do it any other time, only when I'm playing the game.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?

it seems to me like one of you banners/background images for a certain song are corrupted. Try singling out the song which causes the problem and delete it from your library. It is rare that stepmania crashes for any other reason other then invalid image files.
